Water Engineer (m/f/d)

Warsaw

 


We are looking for Water Engineer to join our team In Poland. You will be based in Warsaw, and can work partly remote through flexible, self-organized work. 

This role offers you

  • Preparation of study/concept/design documentation for Polish and international projects 
  • Hydrological analyses and calculations 
  • Analyses of flooding and development of remedial measures
  • Preparation of technical drawings 
  • Development of hydraulic models for drains / rivers / reservoirs / dams

Your ideal profile
  • Master's degree or engineering degree in environmental engineering, water engineering or similar  
  • Five years' of professional experience in water engineering and/or hydrology and/or hydraulic and hydrological modelling
  • Knowledge of hydrology and hydraulic modelling of rivers and/or sewers
  • experience in hydraulic and/or hydrological modelling using specialised software e.g.: Mike DHI, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, Bentley SewerGEMS/WaterGEMS, FloodModeller, InfoWorks, 
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office 
  • Good knowledge of English (at least B2 - intermediate)

Skills and knowledge of 

  • Data processing/preparation in ArcGIS package, 
  • Knowledge of Water Law
  • Knowledge of WFD, 
  • Ability to use climate forecasts in hydrological studies
  • Willingness to travel to Arup offices at home and abroad
