The Opportunity
As a Consultant in our Renewable Energy team, you will:
- Conduct feasibility studies and early-stage design for utility-scale renewable energy projects.
- Perform energy yield assessments for wind and solar projects.
- Execute technical due diligence in renewable energy (wind, solar), energy storage, and nuclear sectors.
- Deliver M&A and pre-lend due diligence studies for financial investors and banks, providing insights into technical risks and project viability.
- Support senior team members in identifying and pitching for projects across Southeast Asia.
- Assist in building relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders.
Contribute to effective project management and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Is this role right for you?
- If you have the following skills and experience, we’d love to hear from you:
- 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in low-carbon and renewable energy projects.
- Technical expertise in at least one of the following: solar PV, wind (onshore and offshore), hydrogen, hydroelectric, geothermal, or concentrated solar.
- Strong track record in delivering technical M&A and pre-lend due diligence studies.
- Experience in feasibility assessments for wind, solar, hydro, or geothermal projects.
- Proficiency in energy assessment software such as PVSyst, Windpro, and Homer Pro.
- Working knowledge of power system tools (PSS/E, Power Factory, PSCAD) is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Developing professional qualification in a recognised engineering institution is desirable.
