The Opportunity
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Application Management and Support professional to join our Ventures Projects team.
This is an exciting Early Careers opportunity for someone interested in technology, business applications and operational support. You will help support the effective use and day-to-day operation of business applications, working with colleagues and stakeholders to resolve issues, improve processes and ensure applications continue to meet business needs.
You will have the opportunity to develop your technical, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills while gaining experience in a collaborative global environment.
Key Responsibilities
As an Application Management and Support team member, you may be responsible for:
- Providing day-to-day support for business applications and systems.
- Responding to application-related queries and support requests.
- Investigating application issues and helping identify appropriate solutions.
- Logging, tracking and following up on incidents and support requests.
- Working with users to understand application issues and requirements.
- Supporting application testing and the implementation of system changes.
- Assisting with user acceptance testing and documenting test results.
- Maintaining accurate application documentation and support information.
- Supporting application updates, enhancements and improvements.
- Assisting with data quality and ensuring information within applications is accurate.
- Identifying recurring issues and helping to improve processes.
- Working collaboratively with technical teams, business users and other stakeholders.
- Escalating complex technical issues to the appropriate teams when required.
- Following established processes, procedures and security requirements.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across applications and business processes.

- Understanding of incident and service management principles.
- Familiarity with ticketing or service-management systems.
- Experience with application testing or troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of databases, data management or SQL.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 applications.
- Understanding of software development or application lifecycle processes.
- Previous internship, placement, project or university experience involving technology or business systems.
Education
A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline would be advantageous, such as:
- Information Technology
- Computer Science
- Information Systems
- Software Engineering
- Business Information Systems
- Technology Management
- Data/Analytics
or another related discipline.
