Designer (Lighting)

Designer (Lighting)
Responsibilities:
· Collaborating closely with architects, interior designers, and project managers to develop comprehensive lighting design plans
· Specifying appropriate lighting fixtures, controls, and technologies to meet the project's aesthetic and functional requirements
· Conducting site surveys, performing lighting calculations, and producing detailed lighting layouts and renderings
· Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards
· Managing commissioning processes to guarantee successful project delivery
Qualifications & Experience required:
· Degree in Lighting, Architectural, Interior Design, Electrical Engineering, Theatre Design or related disciplines
· At least 5 years of lighting design experience
· Knowledge of AutoCAD, Sketchup, Dialux, Photoshop and Indesign
· Good command of written and spoken English
· Possess a membership of relevant professional institution(s)
Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Assistant Designer.
