As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead the design and delivery of advanced Data Centre projects across Thailand and the wider Southeast Asia region. As a senior member of Arup's MEP team, you will combine technical excellence with strategic leadership to deliver innovative, resilient and sustainable electrical engineering solutions while driving business growth within the Science, Industry and Technology (SIT) sector. Based in our Bangkok office, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients and industry partners to shape the future of mission-critical infrastructure.

The Opportunity

  • Lead the design and delivery of complex Data Centre and Science, Industry and Technology (SIT) projects across Thailand and Southeast Asia, ensuring high-quality technical and commercial outcomes.
  • Develop new business opportunities by building client relationships, securing project leads, preparing proposals and supporting contract negotiations.
  • Deliver and review detailed electrical engineering designs and calculations, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, government agencies and multidisciplinary teams to successfully deliver projects on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Support the Thailand Country Leader by strengthening the MEP team's technical capability, mentoring engineers and promoting continuous improvement across the business.

You will have the opportunity do socially useful work that has meaning – to Arup, to your career, to our members and to the clients and communities we serve.

Is this role right for you?

  • At least 15 years of experience in electrical engineering within the built environment, including significant experience delivering Data Centre and Science, Industry and Technology (SIT) projects.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) with the Council of Engineers Thailand, supported by relevant professional memberships and industry accreditations.
  • A proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and successfully delivering large-scale, complex engineering projects within a consulting environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering design, project management, and applicable local and international codes, standards and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with a strategic mindset, strong commercial awareness and a commitment to delivering exceptional client outcomes.
